Welcome to the next generation in digital recording. The new Boa USB 2.0 DVD+/-RW superdrive allows you to write to DVD-R & DVD-RW/+RW media. The media can hold up to 4.7GB on each side and is designed to hold either data or digital video formats. The Boa USB 2.0 DVD+/-RW comes with the software you need to burn DVD movies from your PC or Macintosh computer on to a DVD-R disc that you can put in your home DVD player and view. (Requires a G4 Processor and Authoring software that is not included.) The New Boa USB 2.0 DVD-R is also a CD-RW drive that will write to 650 or 700 MB CD-R and CD-RW media. USB 2.0 makes this drive completely hot pluggable and fast.
